September, birds...

Towards the end of making the images for Peacock Blue, the peacocks started to merge with the dancers. When that was over, a new kind of human/bird began to appear (the yellow image at the bottom of this post - the most recent images are at the top). I studied the shapes of condors... another human bird appeared.

Then I went to the island of Lismore for a workshop, and the heron arrived.

I've had a wonderful time this last few weeks making images for Rachel Amey's one woman show Peacock Blue in this year's Edinburgh Fringe. A huge thank you to Rachel for this inspiration.

Most but not of all ot the images below ended up in her show, projected onto a screen behind the performance, with music by Sioned Jones and images by Jamie Zubairi. Some images were also used in facebook promotion.
